Twin houses were designed using vernacular architecture principles thereby maintaining the local traditions and also sustainability. The materials used were exposed bricks, stone walls, Mangalore tiles, Jaisalmer marble, and athangudi tiles. Each material brings its own unique character and functionality to the design. We included a private garden that connects both the houses. The design approach we used was to not only design aesthetically pleasing homes but to also foster a connection with the local tradition and environment.
